PENGARUH LATIHAN BEBAN TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN SERVIS OVERHEAD FLOAT DALAM PERMAINAN BOLA VOLI

Abstract


ABSTRACT. Volleyball is a complex sport with demands on technical, tactical and physical abilities. One of the basic techniques that are very important in volleyball is serving, a volleyball team must have a good service ability to support points and wins. However, this is not seen in the Extracurricular Team of SMAN 26 Bandung. About 30% of athletes who master the overhead float service well, and the rest are still lacking so that during the competition many numbers are wasted due to errors / failures to serve overhead floats. The purpose of this study was to increase the success in performing overhead float services by providing a weight training program. The research method used is Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pre-Post Test Design. The weight training program was given for 8 weeks with a total of 16 meetings. Subjects were selected using saturated sample technique with a total of 10 female athletes of volleyball extracurricular at SMAN 26 Bandung. The pre and post test data were obtained by using the top service skill test in volleyball. The results obtained in this study (12,829> 2,262), then Ho is rejected, meaning that HI is accepted, in other words that there is a significant increase between the initial test and the final test so that giving weight training can increase the success of overhead float services. The notes in giving exercise are given on an ongoing basis, regularly and use practice principles.

ABSTRAK. Bola voli adalah olahraga yang kompleks dengan tuntutan teknis, taktis, dan kemampuan fisik. Salah satu teknik dasar yang sangat penting dalam permainan bola voli adalah servis, sebuah tim bola voli harus memilki kemampuan servis yang baik untuk menunjang perolehan poin dan kemenangan, Akan tetapi, tidak terlihat pada tim Ekstrakulikuler SMAN 26 Bandung. Sekitar 30% atlet yang menguasai servis overhead float dengan baik, dan sisanya masih kurang sehingga pada saat pertandingan banyak angka terbuang karena kesalahan/kegagalan melakukan servis overhead float. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan dalam melakukan servis overhead float dengan memberikan program latihan beban. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan One-Group Pre-Post Test Design. Pemberian program latihan beban dilakukan selama 8 minggu dengan total 16 kali pertemuan. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan Teknik sampel jenuh dengan total 10 atlet putri ekstrakulikuler bola voli SMAN 26 Bandung. Data pre dan post-test diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes keterampilan servis atas dalam permainan bola voli. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini (12,829 > 2,262), maka Ho di tolak artinya HI diterima, dengan kata lain bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara tes awal dan tes akhir sehingga pemberian latihan beban dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan servis overhead float. Yang menjadi catatan dalam pemberian latihan diberikan secara berkelanjutan, teratur dan menggunakan prinsip-prinsip latihan.
